Aloe rooikappie – Little Red Riding Hood Supply

Description
Aloe x rooikappie (Aloe sinkatana zubb hybrid)
This clump-forming plant has a great mix of structural attributes and rugged cultural qualities. It has bright green triangular leaves spotted with light green dashes or windows as they re called. Each leaf tapers nicely to a point and has widely spaced teeth on the edges. Each adult plant within a clump will produce a flower stalk with a red-hot poker-looking cluster of tubular reddish-orange flowers. Free-blooming, not dependent on patterned seasonal bloom times, they can produce blooms anytime throughout the year. ‘Little Red Riding Hood is one of the best aloes for low deserts and inland gardens where reflected heat and ground temperatures can be oppressive, this plant will not be harmed.
