This is the Aloe that defines all others. The Orange Aloe Vera forms a clump of stemless rosettes of fleshy, grey-green leaves. It is popular because it is easy to grow, requires little maintenance, and is very drought-tolerant. The variable colors bloom on attractive racemes up to 3ft. tall and have orange tubular hummingbird attractant flowers about 1in. long.Â
