Agave salmiana var. ferox Variegata is an agave that forms mostly solitary rosettes of wide, glossy dark green leaves with striking yellow bands along the edges. Very cold hardy and adaptive, this is one of the best Agaves for landscapes for southeast, northeast, and western gardeners alike. They also make striking container specimens for collector container gardens.Â
