Agave parryi v. huachucensis Online Hot Sale

Description
Huachuca Agave
A beautiful, cold hardy Agave from the Sky Islands of southern Arizona. The leaves are lined with attractive reddish-brown to black teeth and a sharp terminal spine. These sought-after Agaves grow in populations in the Huachuca (Wah-choo-Ka) Mtns of Arizona within the Coronado Ntl. Forest. They are adapted to different soil types, but like other Agaves, they perform best in well-drained, loose gravely soils, especially in wetter regions. This variety grows larger than other A. parryi types. Their powder blue color stands out when planted with other perennials, shrubs or other accent plants. Note: In low deserts or hotter inland landscapes, the Hauchuca Agave benefits from afternoon shade. Great plant for containers & collectors.Â
