Asparagus meyeri – Foxtail Fern Hot on Sale

Description
Asparagus meyeri
Foxtail Fern is an evergreen perennial that grows two feet tall by four feet wide with light green needle-like leaves that dress upright plume-like stems likened to spears or fox tails. These stems form fleshy tubers just below the soil surface and can spread two to three feet. Small white flowers appear tight inside the leaves in mid-summer followed by fun green berries that ripen to a lovely red by fall. Easy to grow for brown thumb gardeners. Plant in-ground or in containers for a soft, bright patio or porch accent plant. In colder zones, bring plants in during winter. Moist, but well-drained soil is best.
