Red Firecracker Bush is great in sunbelt state winters for persistent color. It tolerates and prefers heat and is not bothered by salty soils. During colder months the otherwise bright green glossy foliage turns a deep reddish color. The flowers are red orange tubular clusters attractive to hummingbirds. Occasionally after it flowers, it produces small dark red purple fruits. Easy to grow, adaptable, and tolerant!
