It is one of the most cold hardy varieties commercially available. Stunning examples of this beautiful A. parryi-type Agave have been growing at the Denver Botanic Garden in USDA zone 5, for years. Their natural range extends from low desert grasslands up to nearly 7000 pinyon & ponderosa pine forests.
