Description
Hoya Caudata Sumatra
Hoya Caudata Sumatra is an epiphytic climber with thin stems and crazy roots to help it anchor itself. The leaves are thick and oval shaped with usually only one leaf per node. The colour is green with silver speckles and serrated margins which gives it that Hoya look, just a bit different. Like the Sunrise, if exposed to full sun the leaves become sun-stressed and develop shades of red.Â
How to care for your Hoya –Â
Water:Â Less is more when it comes to watering; we like to wait until the leaves pucker slightly.
Light: This Hoya grows best in very bright light. Southern exposure is best, but it can adapt to east or west locations in front of a window. In low light, a Hoya plant may never bloom.
Humidity:Â They like high humidity and would be perfect for a bathroom or kitchen.
Temperature:Â Average room temperature is fine.
